As they say better late than never, the new digital migration era has forced most local TV broadcasters to partner with their digital terrestrial broadcasting counterparts to air their channels to the masses that have already adopted the pay TV standard. Today, Urban TV finally launched on the GOTV Uganda Platform.
Several GOTV subscribers have already reported on Twitter that they can now watch Urban TV. UrbanTV’s Station Manager DJ BushBaby said at the launch that the station has waited for this switch over for over “three painful years” Multichoice’s Patricia Kiconco said that “We are extremely excited to launch Urban TV on the GOTV Uganda platform.”
