    Ugandan farmers can now go mobile with the, AgroMarketDay Android App

    For those in the farming business, its high time to start doing business on mobile. Since Uganda relies on the Agricultural sector as one of its pillars, this app really comes in handy for farmers or those in the agribusiness circles.  AgroMarketDay is an Android mobile application that enables Ugandan farmers to sell agricultural produce, get information about agricultural markets, market days, modern farming methods , farm inputs and tools.

    The App will currently focus on commercializing agriculture in Uganda . And it will enable farmers upload information about their produce onto the system which will be visible to anyone who has the application on their mobile phone.

    One of the app developers Isaac told us in a statement that,

    ” We want to create a global agricultural market in Uganda where farmers from different districts can find market for their produce using a mobile phone.”
