While at the launch of Vodafone Uganda, the UCC’s Executive Director, Godfrey Mutabazi said that the public should use social media positively rather than abuse it. He also called for stringent compliance to quality service delivery among telecom companies or risk withdrawal of licenses.

Mr Mutabazi’s comments come at a time when government through its ethics directorate is trying to curve a way forward and control the use of social media amid rampant leaking of nude pictures and sex videos of different people.
