This is LG’s 34-inch curved screen for gamers

CES is next month and we expect to see many curved things from TVs, all-in-one PCs, and plenty desktop monitors. LG’s has today unveiled a 34-inch UltraWide desktop monitor which has been designed for gamers and incorporates support for AMD’s FreeSync, a feature which removes unsightly screen tearing that can happen when your monitor and graphics card get out of sync. With a 21:9 aspect ratio, you’ll be able to see details on screen that are hidden from your multiplayer enemies who are playing games like Battlefield 4 on 16:9 screens.

According to the Verge, LG is describing the new curved UltraWide as one of its best yet, promising unrivaled color accuracy thanks to the UltraWide’s IPS panel, ability to output 99 percent of the sRGB color gamut, and 178 degrees of pristine viewing angles. At the same time, LG is also launching a flat version of the monitor.  You can combine four of them and feel like you’re on an episode of Game of Thrones. There is no price estimate on the screens so far but LG will announce them at CES.
