    The third annual Visa Everywhere Initiative is calling for applications

    Payments company Visa is calling for applications for its third annual Visa Everywhere Initiative happening in the US. $50,000 is up for grabs and winners will also get a chance to work with Visa in the US and collaborate on innovative payments solutions of the future.

    The tasks at hand aim to tackle 3 real-life business problems and Visa is looking at startups in the technology fields of IoT, FinTech, Marketing technology, eCommerce, Venture for Good, Sharing Economy and others.

    The 3 challenges Visa presents are

    1. Challenge 1:  How can your company use connected devices to facilitate simpler, more seamless and powerful commerce experiences for consumers?
    2. Challenge 2: How can Visa APIs augment your company’s product or service offerings and ultimately drive more meaningful commerce or finance related experiences for customers?
    3. Challenge 3: How can you harness Visa capabilities and other third party services to create transformative commerce experiences at sporting events, transportation hubs or other venues where people congregate?

    The applicants are expected to disclose their employee count, founding year, HQ location and country of origin. You can apply for the Visa Everywhere Initiative and find additional information here but submissions close on April 6th.
