    The new Huawei M2 is an 8 inch high audiophile centric tablet

    Huawei has unveiled the second iteration in its line of affordable 8″ tablet, the new new Huawei M2 is an 8 inch high audiophile centric tablet that comes in an all-metal back and comes in Wi-Fi and LTE versions. The great looking 8″ IPS display comes with an impressive 1,920 x 1,200px resolution. Running the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop, the Huawei M2 comes with EMUI 3.1 skin on top, all powered by Huawei’s home made Kirin 930 chipset (octa-core processor, 3GB RAM). Storage comes in 16GB or 64GB options.

    The body of the Huawei M2 tablet measures 7.8mm thick and features stereo speakers rated at 1W. Harman/Kardon has contributed sound-enhancing tech, which gives a good indication that this is a tablet for the audiophile enthusiasts.The camera is an 8MP main shooter and a 2MP selfie camera. There’s a 4,800mAh battery powering the tablet. The M2 tablets go on sale July 16 for those who will register for it and the cheaper version of the Huawei M2 (Wi-Fi, 16GB) is $256, while the LTE capable 64GB version goes for C$367.
