The Infinix HOT 10 is set to launch in Uganda soon. Here is what to expect

Infinix is set to update its Hot lineup with a brand new HOT 10, a likely successor to the Hot 9 that launched earlier this year. However, the biggest surprise of all is that the Hot 10 will be powered by the G70 processor, the same chipset powering the impressive Note 7 that earlier launched this year.

The Infinix HOT Series smartphones are known for being budget-friendly but with spectacular oomph in the spec department. We are most likely going to see the same with the Hot 10, which is rumoured to have an Octa-core processor, quad rear camera setup, a 6.78 Inch full-screen display with a hole-punch design, and a massive battery.

It is said that the HOT 10 is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps  with its quad-rear camera including a 16MP primary shooter which is accompanied by a 2MP macro, and a 2MP bokeh, and an AI lens on top of being packed with a huge 5,200mAh battery.

It is unclear whether the company will be launching an Infinix HOT 10 Pro alongside the regular  Hot 10 but given that Infinix has been relatively straight-forward with its lineup lately, it is safe to assume that we shall be seeing two models.

The gaming-focused Helio G70 powering the HOT 10 will be paired with 4 GB of RAM and likely, 64GB of storage for the base model, and will presumably be one of the memory variants as we’ve seen before. On the software side, the HOT 10 will ship with Android 10, most likely with Infinix’s own XOS on top.

The estimated price range is UGX 500, 000 – UGX 600,000, and the phone will come in three color variants including Moonlight Jade and Obsidian Black but expect more details once the phone launches.
