    The Firefox browser now has its own inbuilt VPN solution

    Popular Mozilla browser now has a native VPN solution inbuilt. While Firefox protects your data within the browser, your computer, tablet or phone is still vulnerable to invasions of privacy. Mozilla VPN will be able to protect your connection across your entire device, so you can stream, download, and game securely.

    For those excited to try it out will have to know that Mozilla is currently only offering its VPN in the US, the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia. More countries will soon be supported in due course time.

    The company is using the most advanced protocol, WireGuard®, to encrypt your network activity and hide your IP address. The VPN is designed to ensure the connection is done to enable users surf, stream, game, and get work done with fast network speed using their WireGuard® powered servers. They will not store the user’s online activity logs on their servers.

    The new VPN clients are compatible with Android and Windows 10 (64 bit), while their iOS VPN client remains in beta. Mac and Linux clients are coming soon.

    When it comes to privacy protection WireGuard® protocol will be used to encrypt a user’s network traffic protecting all their private information. Compared to existing VPN protocols, WireGuard’s lightweight code is easier for security analysts to review and audit – making it a more secure option for the VPN. In addition, user’s online activities can stay anonymous because the company claims they will never log, track, or share clients’ network data.
