That was the exact rationale behind the launch of the Spark and Spark Plus in August last year. The Spark series are not the regular mid-range smart phones available out there with bland offerings. Rather, they are very stylish and innovative products which can compete with several high-end products available today. Tecno will give an update to their Spark series with the launch of the Spark 2.

Tecno is ready to give the competition a run for their money with the rumoured launch of another Spark device. The device that is making rounds in the rumor mills is the Spark 2, with tasty ? specs!
Just like the first Spark and Spark Plus, the Spark 2 is designed to give tech savvy social media lovers the utmost mobile experience.
Mysteries. Oh mysteries!
Tecno is good at making their secrets actually remain secret. Most times, we are caught by surprise about the actual specs of their upcoming devices. Not much information is currently available about the Spark 2, but we have a huge appetite for solving mysteries. If you, just like we, have been following up previous phone launches, it’s not difficult to guess.
In the rumour mill
So here are some professional guesses according to the rumours and a follow up of the recent smartphone trends. First, speculation points that the Spark 2 might come in two variants just like the first Spark. Also, the Spark 2 will feature an 18:9 aspect ratio and a 6″ 720p screen. Tecno has released some big screens with the Camon CM, Camon X and Camon X Pro. So most likely, the Spark 2 will feature a bigger bezel-less display too.
Face Unlock?
Face Unlock is becoming a must have feature from Chinese manufacturers and we are positive the phone will have the feature.
The two variants of the Tecno Spark 2 will both run Android Oreo out of the box. The smaller one will probably run Go Edition of Android since it will have just a sole GB of RAM. The bigger variant will run Android Oreo with HiOS flavouring and 2GB of RAM.

Price?
The Tecno Spark 2 may launch as early as next month for a price between UGX 450,000 and UGX 500,000 and for the bigger version. The smaller one will obviously be cheaper. Sure thing is, we are excited about this device and only time stands between us and the launch. But till then, we hope Tecno brings the Spark 2 matching the tasty rumoured specs, or even bettering them.
