Tecno has finally unveiled the long-awaited exceptionally catchy Camon X and Camon X Pro in Nigeria for its global Spring launch. The two X additions to the Camon line were not unveiled alone though,Tecno also unveiled a brand new line of smartphones dubbed the F series alongside them.
The Camon X and Camon X Pro smartphones come with whole lot of new great features, including ”iPhone X” like Face ID feature to unlock the phone with your face. We are yet to put it through several tests and see if it matches up to the hype. The Camon X Pro is the first ever 24Mp clear selfie camera smartphone, fulfilling what Tecno said about the new phones coming with ‘never seen before’ features.
The phones ship with the latest version of Android–called Oreo system out of the box. Tecno Mobile in partnership with Google also features the budget phone friendly Android Oreo Go edition on the F series. Tecno’s new F-series smartphones are notably the next big thing due to their affordability and durable features. With the launch of 5 new very appealing devices, you may wonder what happens to the Camon CM which doubled as Tecno’s first full display smartphone.
About the Camon X and X Pro Smartphones
The Camon X Pro debuts a 24MP + 16MP front and rear cameras with an increased image definition of 30% over that of the Camon CX to ensure that images are clear and sharp. Critically gifted with a 6.0-inch FHD screen once again, he Camon X and Camon X Pro come in the now industry leading 18:9 full display screen as first seen on the Camon CM.
Teasing into the new device features at the press briefing during the launch, Tecno officials stated that the Camon X is a next generation smartphone able to add a facial spice to mobile photography. Just like the Tecno Mobile CMO Philex MENG stated.

The new F line that Tecno unveiled on the night comprises of three mid-range smartphones that come ready to rock with Android Oreo Go edition with, impressive processing memory and commendable cameras for their budget.
The TECNO F series too dons full display IPS Touchscreen, 2MP front cameras for F1 and F2, and 5MP front cameras for POP1 (F3). All of them are with wide degree Selfie Panorama which will enable users to rotate the device from side-to-side in order to take stunning wide-angle selfies.
