There’s been quite a bit of TECNO Camon 16 series news over the last few weeks, surrounding the upcoming Camon 16 Premier, 16 Pro, and 16 to Uganda following its release in Kenya, and just recently it was tipped that October 12 might be the official launch day. Well, today, TECNO Mobile Uganda seemed to have confirmed the date, through their official Facebook page in a post indicating that there are 5 days away from the launch of Camon 16.

What is new?
From the information we have seen from our neighbor’s launch of Camon 16 premier in Kenya, here are some of the specifications we anticipate to come with the phone(s) to suit your new and emerging needs.
All the models in the Camon 16 series have four cameras on the back and two on the front. The front camera has been upgraded with more megapixels to give selfies lovers the perfect selfie.
The front panel of the Camon 16 Premier has a tall 6.9” Full HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a pill-shaped punch hole for the dual selfie cameras (48 MP main + 8 MP ultrawide) while the fingerprint scanner has made its way on the side, under the power key.
On the back, the Premier has a 64MP as the main camera, accompanied by three other cameras.
The Camon 16 series is also said to come installed with the Helio G90T chipset making it one of the pioneer smartphones on the market to have this super-fast and strong processor on top of a type C charger with 33W fast-charging power up-to 70% battery in under 30 minutes.

The Camon 16 is poised to be one of the best smartphones to come from TECNO this year judging by the specs but we can only tell after, getting our hands dirty with it.
Camon 16 price and where to buy from
TECNO mobile Uganda is currently pre-selling the Camon 16 Premier for a booking price of UGX 50,000 only from pre-selected shops all over the country. Doing so wins one free TECNO original Hipods earphones as a bonus gift.
