Taxify Uganda links up with Traffic Police to promote Boda hailing services

Boda hailing services are on the raise and often a preferred means of maneuvering Kampala traffic. Key service providers including Taxify, Mondo Boda, and Safeboda are always on the go to improve safety together with all relevant measures for all riders.

While everyone is used to the Orange branded motorbike drivers, Taxify’s Boda movement is yet to become yet a big service in Uganda. Its no doubt that Safeboda still enjoys a wider market-share in this sector and has earned trust as a go to Boda hailing service. Taxify has thus linked up with traffic security operatives to modify the way riders maneuver safely to their destinations.

About Taxify’s new partnership with Uganda Police

Being the legal traffic regulator in Uganda. Traffic police is a very significant player when it comes to ride-hailing services regulation. Taxify launched its Boda hailing option in January as Safeboda panicked to rebrand and boost its driver performance in Kampala.

Taxify in conjunction with the Uganda traffic police yesterday decided to sum up the boda hailing industry with safety at the helm of the discussion. Which will involve training boda-boda riders across the city with the required skills. We hope that boda accidents and irresponsible riding will soon be a thing of the past, as riders will have no doubts in relying on the fast rising ride-hailing services.
