Every new year comes with a new Galaxy phone but this time round Samsung’s next flagship phones the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra seem to have leaked massively. The devices are widely expected to arrive this January but Android Police has just published three brief teaser videos that it says come directly from Samsung.
The leaked videos don’t reveal too much, but what is for certain is that there is will be a design change on these phones — a good looking, streamlined new camera bump that fuses perfectly into the sides of the phone, with three cameras on the S21 and S21 Plus and five cameras (including what appears to be a periscope zoom lens, see the square shape) on the S21 Ultra.

Unlike its younger siblings, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will have a curved screen, and the names of all three phones finally include “5G” which since it has now become a norm and no longer a marketing gimmick.

When it comes to the expected specs, Android Police previously confirmed that the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra will have a 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.8-inch phones, respectively — each with 120Hz screens. The monsters running the show underneath the screens will be the; Snapdragon 888 (for the US) or the weaker Exynos 2100 processor (for international markets).
The battery capacity for the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra will be 4,000mAh, 4,800mAh, and 5,000mAh batteries, respectively. The S21 Ultra is rumored to break records with the brightest screen on a Samsung phone yet at 1,600 nits. It’ll also reportedly have an adaptive refresh rate that goes all the way down to 1Hz, as well as S Pen stylus support (but no integrated slot), while the standard S21 will be downgraded to have a plastic back instead of glass, unlike the S20.
When it comes to camera prowess, the Ultra is expected to have an improved 108MP camera sensor and two telephoto lenses, one at 3x optical and one at 10x optical, each with larger pixels to gather more light than previous zooms. But its main camera and ultrawide camera are suspected to use the same 12MP sensors across the lineup.
