    Samsung Confirms Galaxy Devices Eligible for Galaxy AI Features and One UI 6.1 Update

    At the recent Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled the highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series, along with Galaxy AI capabilities and One UI 6.1 features. In a recent update, Samsung has confirmed which Galaxy devices will receive the Galaxy AI features and the One UI 6.1 update.

    Earlier, Samsung had announced that the Galaxy AI experience would be available on several Galaxy devices within the year’s first half. However, the company has now provided further clarification to AndroidAuthority via email regarding the specific devices eligible for the Galaxy AI-loaded One UI 6.1 update.

    According to the information shared, the Galaxy S24’s Galaxy AI features will be rolled out to a range of devices, including the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Fold 5, Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus, and Tab S9 Ultra. It’s important to note that this does not exclude the Galaxy S22 and S21 series; they weren’t mentioned in the email.

    Furthermore, many of the Galaxy AI features introduced on the Galaxy S24 will also be supported on previous models, such as the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series, within the first half of 2024. Samsung advises users to stay tuned for more details.

    During the event, Samsung showcased a range of impressive One UI 6.1 features, including Live Translate, Chat Assist, enhanced Android Auto, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Circle to Search, upgraded Nightography capabilities, Galaxy AI editing tools, Edit Suggestion, and Instant Slow-mo.
