Samsung announces the Galaxy Core with dual SIM option

Samsung Galaxy Core is another Galaxy phone from the company, joining the endless list of similarly named phones, powered by Google’s Android operating system (because everybody knew you couldn’t start your week off without another Samsung Galaxy phone). Don’t get your hopes too high though, the Samsung Galaxy Core is a low-end phone!

It features a 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of Internal Storage, a 4.3-inch WVGA (yes) screen, VGA webcam, five-megapixel main shooter with flash, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and a Samsung Galaxy S 4-like back design (which we think Samsung will be using and reusing like a champ throughout the entire year). Special software features include Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Motion UI, and S-Voice.

While pricing has not been revealed yet, the Samsung Galaxy Core will be available in two versions: a standard, single SIM flavor, starting July, and a Dual-SIM variant from May.
