    Roke Telkom, a co-sponsor to the  upcoming Blankets & Wine XV Edition is giving out free tickets but with a catch of course. All you have to do is upgrade to or sign up for their Roke Mega internet package and you are an instant winner.

    Roke Mega is their latest offering for businesses and comes with 80GB’s at speeds of up to 10mbps for only sh500,000 a month. T&C’s apply.

    The XV Edition is expected to be “lit” based on the spectacular lineup that includes opening acts like;

    Jemimah Sanyu, also known as the Stage Gladiator due to her strong voice & commanding demeanor over each & every stage that dares to have her. Sanyu peaked at #4 on the HiPipo charts with her hit single Ziba Amaaso , her other charting hits included I am a Ugandan and Kankusute. Sanyu’s wild & energetic dances are bound to make you take to your feet and groove to the tunes of her Unit 446 band.

    Tom Mayanja, a.k.a, The Mith, who is definitely considered one of the most influential Hip-Hop artists coming out of Uganda and East Africa as a whole. His sophomore album, ‘Destination Africa’ ensured his music soared beyond just East Africa through collaborations with top African acts like, Ikechukwu (Nigeria), J-Town and Screech (Ghana), A.Y (Tanzania), Khaligraph (Kenya). He is absolutely going to get the masses riled up with his lyrical genius considering how it’s been a while since a hip-hop act graced the Blankets & Wine Kampala stage.

    Giovanni Kremer Kiyingi, who is a Ugandan folk singer-songwriter and world music artist, best known for his skills as a multi-instrumentalist playing the local Ugandan fiddle endingidi, akogo, adungu, guitar congas & many others. His skills and numerous talents have won him invitations to perform at major music festivals events both in Uganda and the rest of the world alongside performers like Kora Award winner Susan Kerunen, Myco Ouma and others. Giovanni’s Afro fusion style is guaranteed to leave a mark that will make you appreciate the genre a lot more.

    And last but definitely not least, the headlining act;

    Ali Kiba, who is arguably the biggest act from Tanzania, he is a singer-songwriter best known for his hit songs “Mwana“,”Aje” “Chekecha tua” “Cinderella”, “Nakshi Nakshi”, “Usiniseme,”  and many others. He won the prestigious MTV Europe Music Award for best International act Africa 2016 among numerous other awards this year. Ali Kiba has a lot more to bring to the stage than just good looks,his dance moves have been known to stir up the masses.
