    The real Amazon phone leaks

Recently we saw images of a prototype Amazon phone, now thanks to BGR we get a first clear look at the company’s upcoming smartphone. The Google Nexus 4 look a like looks to be glass on both sides and a soft-touch perimeter. If you the Nexus 4 and iPhone 5 had kids , the Amazon phone would be the final product. The front resembles an iPhone thanks to its chamfered edges, earpiece design, and what looks to be some sort of  home button below the display.

From the image we can see a volume toggle, SIM slot and a micro USB port at the bottom. The pictured device is browsing the Kindle ebook store, so unfortunately it doesn’t reveal much about Amazon’s UI and software experience. Just like on Amazon’s tablets we expect it to be running a version of Fire OS, but it remains to be seen what customizations Amazon has made for the smaller form factor. BGR says multiple sources have confirmed that the image is legitimate and an accurate render of Amazon’s long awaited phone. Juts like we saw last time, it spots four cameras — one in each corner — that will reportedly power its head-tracking technology and offer a unique 3D-like user experience. We expect this device to be launched in June.
