If the reviews of the series was good there no reason for Netflix to stop the show. House of Cards was signed off for a 26-episode commitment and seems plans to extend it are on going.
The series that premiered in February this year, became a breakaway hit, receiving nine Emmy nominations together Game of Thrones . One thing that makes this series unique from the rest is the Netflix model where all episodes are released at once an viewers can see them in their free time. Its based on the consumer’s desire to watch things when they want, instead of spending tens of millions of dollars to advertise to people who may not even be the target audience.
