    PIVOT East 2014 : Get your tech Startup known today

     pivot east 2013Pivot East, East Africa’s premier app mobile startup pitching competition and conference is back this year, and this time round has partnered with Tech Hubs across the region. The competition will be held in Nairobi Kenya on 24th  and 25th June.

    Pivot East has officially called upon participating startups in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Somalia or DR Congo to submit their startup ideas. All Apps and companies that reached final 25 lists of PIVOT 2011, PIVOT 2012 and are not allowed to compete with products/services previously submitted for the competition, as they would face disqualification.

    Just like last year the competition will be in five categories each featuring at least five finalists. the categories are:

    • Mobile Finance Category
    • Mobile Entertainment Category
    • Mobile Utilities Category
    • Mobile Society Category
    • Mobile Enterprise Category

    PIVOT east has given a basic step by step process to guide participants on how to qurate their startup profiles. This is the major route for start ups to get support and financing through  m:labs programs. If you meet the criteria, feel free to submit your application by 11th April.
