In broadcasting sub sector in Uganda, there are 28 operational Free-to-Air (FTA) TV stations , the number of digital terrestrial TV stations and the number of digital satellite TV stations are two and four respectively.
There are Seven Pay Television stations operational in the Ugandan market, two of which broadcast using terrestrial, four use satellite and one broadcasts over cable. Four Pay TVs broadcast country wide. Below lists the Pay TV companies and their areas of coverage.
