Palcohol Approval was apparently an accident: US Govt

Palcohol MojitoA few days back the alcohol drinking world was excited about the upcoming Powdered Alcohol by a company called  “Palcohol,”. The company was planning to sell its new product sometime this year but now their plans have hit a snug after they have been hit by regulatory issues. As the US Government approval body the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the company has seen that endorsement revoked yesterday evening, and  says that Palcohol Approval was an accident. According to the Associated Press, citing a TTB representative, the approvals were issued in erroneously.

The Palcohol company has also agreed to surrender the labels back to the approval body, TTB due to a disagreement with the amount of powder contained within each bag or sachet. They further insist that “this doesn’t mean that Palcohol isn’t approved. It just means that these labels aren’t approved.”

Palcohol concept  is supposed to be simple to understand, all you need to do is buy any flavor of Palcohol powder, add some water, mix a let the alcohol do the rest. The company says it will arrive with a range of flavors based on popular cocktails including margarita, mojito, and cosmopolitan. With this current regulatory set back, some experts predict that it’s unlikely the product will go market anytime soon.
