    Orange Uganda to Invest in Preventing Teenage Pregnancy on world population day

    World population day is around the corner and Orange Uganda has decided to  join hands with other partners for this year’s celebrations on 11th July in Ngora District, Eastern Uganda. This year’s theme is “Invest in Preventing Teenage Pregnancy; Let Girls be Girls”. Orange has partnered with the Uganda Population Secretariat to address the issue of  teenage Pregnancy as cited by this year’s  theme.

    Orange Uganda Limited is part of the Orange FT Group and is committed to maternal health and reduction in child mortality. The company has donated 10 million shillings ($ 3,900) to assist in revamping the ill-equipped  Ngora district maternity unit, which has been cited as one of the leading causes of maternal deaths in the district to ensure that it can handle complications related to pregnancy and child birth.
