Day one of the Orange Expo, people are in high spirits, lots of music and all talk is tech talk, just my kinda crowd. Starting a month earlier that usual, Orange has today kicked off its annual Expo where they showcase the best in technology. The four day event is characterized by the best of Orange products for 2013. The CEO Mr Phillipe Lucxey thanked Ugandans who have supported the company since its inception. He also announced that on the second day of the expo Orange in collaboration with Huawei will launch the thinnest and stylish phone in the market, the Huawei P6 The Event was officially unveiled by UCC Director of Technology and Licensing Mr Patrick Mwesigwa. This (Expo) is the reason why orange has grown and has indeed gained a lot of support from the Ugandan market. The Orange Expo clearly defines the latest technology in the market and am proud that Orange Uganda has taken the initiative the to showcase these products to Ugandans who might not have an opportunity to experience these products in their day to day lives.
He further acknowledged the efforts of the company to in their commitment to avail the population with the latest and most affordable communications solutions.
