The point of sale terminals that Vodafone stores are similar to what we see in supermarkets and other merchant and retails stores around Kampala– and they serve one purpose to help complete transactions. It is the point at which a customer makes a payment to the merchant in exchange for goods or after provision of a service. After receiving payment for your desired Vodafone service, the Vodafone shop merchant will also normally issue a receipt for the transaction. Usually the receipt is printed, and if your bank supports it, you will receives an SMS informing you of the amount of money that been deducted from your account.
