    Nokia big-screen Lumia 1520 event delayed to October

    Although Microsoft is acquiring Nokia’s phone business, the company is still expected to go ahead and launch most of the products that are still in the pipeline. According to Reuters Nokia had been expected to launch its large sized 6-inch Lumia 1520 Windows Phone in the US later this month, and its official now that the event has been delayed to be launched next month. The sources further indicate that the event is now scheduled for mid-October till further notice.

    We have seen this 6-inch Lumia 1520 leaking like crazy for the past few weeks and is likely to come in a variety of colors including white, black, red and yellow. It’s obvious that Nokia’s launch plans have been delayed due to the Microsoft deal, but the company is still expected to launch a $499  10.1-inch Windows RT device also known as Sirius.
