Nokia is back but let us leave with a bang part out of it. Yeah, they’re here and we’ve seen their 3310 which now comes with 3G, the Nokia 3 and the Nokia 5. Added to this paltry list is the top flagship called the Nokia 8.

While 2017 has almost been the year of the bezeless smartphone, the Nokia 8 strays away from that notion, stays a little conservative and maintains the traditional looks with bezels at both the top and bottom of the screen. Not to say it’s a bad device, just have a look at the specs

    Resolution: 1440×2560 pixels
    Storage: 64GB/128GB

    RAM: 4GB/6GB

Now that you know it plays in the top tier with the likes of the Galaxy S8, HTC U11 or the newly launched pixel, should you give it a try? Nokia promises to deliver timely updates than the rest of the folks and we assume the Nokia 8 will be updated over to Android 8 Oreo sooner than later. It might be a catch for some and others filled with nostalgia but we hope it is worth a try.

The device is available in Simba Telecom outlets and Mr Gadgets. It sells for around UGX 2,150,000.
