    Updated: Nile Breweries website hacked- Hacker threatens to leak secret beer formula

    A hacker has taken over Nile Breweries Limited’s website www.nilebreweries.com and they are demanding the company to release a secret and more importantly a classified formula for one their beers within 24 hours. The hack happened between 10-11 am today morning.

    The black hacker made these requests in a video message that they posted on the company website and threatened to expose this formula to the masses. The image on Nile Breweries Ltd’s homepage is a person in a black hood which is usually associated to online hackers as shown above. In a message the hacker said;

    This is a message to Nile Breweries. I have gone through your servers and discovered that you have sitting on a beer formula. So here is my demand- Produce this beer immediately, of the formula goes public. You have 24 hours.

    We await to hear an official response from Nile Breweries Ltd as senior management is still deciding on a way forward.

    UPDATE: Some digital brand pundits are speculating that this light me a marketing gimmick from the company.
