    Newpay Uganda rolls out its electronic Self Service Kiosks around Kampala

    Paying for airtime, water, electricity and more in Uganda is going to be made easier with more choice, as new market entrant Newpay Uganda rolls out its self service Kiosks (vending machines) around Kampala. Newpay is another electronic payment system and just like Payway, you can use it to pay for your Airtime, Utilities, Some Pay TV service providers and top up your internet for Africell, MTN, Airtel, Uganda Telecom to mention but a few.

    The Russian based company plans to use its experience and technology to roll-out their vending machines and other payments terminals at city malls, shops, markets, petrol stations and kiosks. This will expand their presence on the market and allow clients make payments for their bills on a twenty-four hour basis, seven days in a week at their convenience. NewPay Uganda plans to place over 2,000 terminals in Uganda. In Uganda, Novoplat Group is presented by NewPay Trademark.

    The competition

    Newpay joins other electronic payment companies like Payway who have been in the market for a long time. Newpay has a long way to catch up with the vast products that the competition like  has which include; Uganda Telecom, Africell Uganda, MTN Uganda, Vodafone Uganda, Smart Telecom, Airtel Uganda, K2 telecom Multichoice DSTV Uganda, GOtv Uganda, Azam TV Uganda, Zuku TV, StarTimes, TVNXT Uganda, Africell Internet Uganda, Airtel Telecom Internet, IN Connecting Uganda, Smile Telecom, Roke Telecom, UTL internet bundles,Tangerine Internet, UTL land line bills, Airport Express, Tugende loan payments, Dusu Pay, Mcash Insurance.
