DStv Marketing Manager Bryan Muwonge said this was the first of many campaigns that they would be running this year to reward customers. He goes on further to say

The first of a number of campaigns we shall be running in the course of the year to recognize the contribution our subscribers make to the business.  DStv is a very customer centric brand which is always looking at ways of putting our subscribers first and increasingly in control of their overall television experience this is the reason we keep rolling out technologically advanced products and payment solutions that make it easier for our subscribers to manage their subscriptions. We thank our subscribers for a wonderful 2013 which was our most productive year so far and we look forward to providing Ugandans with the best Television experience in 2014.

Lucky customers that stay connected up to March 31 could win free subscription for a year. The campaign is open to subscribers on all the five bouquets: Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access.
