    MTN’s Internet Expo Continues Country-Wide

    MTN’s Internet Expo : First was the Orange Expo in 2010 that was restricted to Kampala only and it show cased Orange’s products and brand awareness, well MTN Uganda got a similar idea, and stripped it down to internet awareness across the country. The company   has held its 4th Internet Expo of 2014. The three day event was held in Mbarara from Thursday 28th to Saturday 30th September at the Ntare Road Car Park. These expos are designed to take the experience and access to the Internet closer to the people and these events.

    According to the company press box, MTN showcased the latest devices and solutions in the digital world, which enables Ugandans across Uganda to experience and access the latest digital services available. The Mbarara Expo follows others held in Kabale, Jinja and Kampala and will be followed with another in Lira November later this year. Dan Muhereza, a 32 year old businessman in Kabale said he was enlightened by what was on display at the expo and satisfied with the customer care by staff there.

    MTN Uganda’s Acting Chief Marketing Officer Kenneth Kiddu said,

At MTN we are constantly keeping pace with the evolution of ICT. The speed at which the world is moving technologically leaves us with no option but move with it. Our priority is to make sure that deliver access to fast but affordable Internet access to Uganda wherever they are across Uganda.” [/signoff]
