    MTN Uganda registers over 96% of Sim Cards

    According to MTN Uganda’s Press release, by end of August 31, the mobile giant had successfully registered 96per cent of its close to 8.2 million active customer base, leaving a total of just 327,548 active customers yet to be registered.

    Mr Anthony Katamba, MTN Uganda’s general manager for corporate services says “There is some for corporate in terms of verification. Customers whose details are yet to be verified will not be disconnected,”

    The company advices customers whose sim cards have been deactivated to visit one of its customer service centers to beregistered and reconnected as per guidelines issued by UgandaCommunications Commission.
