MTN Uganda launches a new mobile money give away campaign dubbed Momo Nyabo

Momo Nyabo in Luganda can be mistakenly pronounced as Mama Nyabo closely translates to “Oh My God”. However, the new phrase is a slung to MTN’s Mobile Money service (MTN MOMO) in short. Well, MTN Uganda carrying on the Mobile money flag to its customers has launched the new exciting mobile money give away campaign which will see subscribers win big from conducted daily and weekly draws. While Airtel recently revived its Yoola Majja campaign that concluded with lucky subscribers reaping big from the promotion. Momo Nyabo is the newest mobile money campaign that is set to air on Bukedde TV and NBS TV every day from 9:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

How Subscribers will win in MTN’s new Momo nyabo campaign

For customers to be eligible to win “MoMo Nyabo” prizes, loading airtime or bundles worthy 500/- or above in addition to a fully registered SIM Card grants them a chance to feature in the daily draws. Unlike previous campaigns sighted from the Telco. Momo Nyabo is focused on promoting a paper free environment in accordance with UCC’s previous interest in banning scratch cards. Furthermore, subscribers automatically enter the daily draws once they recharge using MTN’s mobile money service just like the general manager, sales and distribution Annie Bilenge Tabura asserted.

MTN Mobile Money usage in Uganda continues to grow and that is why we are encouraging our customers to use the service to load airtime and buy their favorite data or voice bundle. MTN Mobile Money has evolved from just being a platform for sending and receiving money to enabling payments. What we want our customers to adopt is that you don’t need scratch cards to load airtime

Prizes to be won in the Momo Nyabo campaign

Among the prizes to be won in MTN’s momo campaign, Flat screen TVs, free airtime, and Toyota Premios will be up for grabs every week as listed below:
