After turning 18 years, MTN is officially celebrating by giving back to its customers. The everywhere you go carrier is dishing out free talk time of 10 minutes to its subscribers as a way of celebrating their longstanding relationship with them. In a message to its customers MTN said;
#MTNat18 We are officially 18 years in Uganda and we are in a giving mood. You get free minutes, he gets free minutes, she gets free minutes, everybody gets free minutes. Let’s all celebrate with free minutes as we turn 18”.
Yesterday, MTN sent out messages advising its subscribers to keep their numbers active for a surprise gift from big yellow and here it comes. Free Minutes! This was in appreciation of their commitment with MTN for 18 years. We took you through MTN’s journey for the time it’s been operating in Uganda
The celebrations however were more prevalent on Twitter where many industry players, customers and well wishers joined together to wish Big Yellow a happy birthday.
