The MTN Egg hunt promo kicks off today, and the company has as well launched a UGX 600 million Internet Bus as part of their commitment to lead the delivery of a bold, new Digital World. The company also handed over a cheque of UGX 15.9 billions to the telecom regulator UCC as an annual contribution to rural ICT transformation.

The Bus is intended to boost ICT literacy in Rural Areas. The bus was launched by the Company CEO Mazen Mroue, Vision group CEO Robert Kabushenga and UCC ED Eng Mutaabazi. The internet bus is equipped with 16 Stations with High speed Internet with Wi-Fi to be used for free in Rural areas. MTN is currently holding several internet expo events and now they are in Jinja.
