    MTN Uganda introduces a ‘call me back’ service for those without airtime

    MTN Uganda has this week introduced an SMS based call me back service called please call me. It will allow MTN subscribers to talk to their loved ones when they are out of airtime. Other telcos like Orange already have this service that allows you to SMS someone to alert them to call you back and you have up to 10 SMS per day.

    MTN’s service will allow users to send up to 3 free messages daily and all you need to do is dial *160*1*5# in order to use it.
