    MTN donates IT Equipment and Internet to KCCA library ahead of City Carnival

    Telecom giant MTN Uganda has donated IT equipment including several computers to be used in the Kampala City Council Authority’s library. The company will also connect the City Authority’s library with high-speed internet. The ED of KCCA Ms Jennifer Musisi received the donation today at the launch of the Annual Kampala City Carnival.

    MTN is among the proud Platinum sponsors of the Carnival. Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) promises the third  City Carnival, will be full of flair, fun and feasting and is scheduled for October 5. Ms Musisi received dummy checks from at least 14 private sponsors including; Airtel Uganda (Shs100m), Huawei (Shs10m), Ruparelia Group (Shs100m) and Uganda Breweries (Shs150m), among others. More than a million people are expected to attend the carnival and about Shs1 billion would be spent on preparation and hosting the event.
