Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, the ride-hailing business Mondo Ride is a homegrown African company, with over 96% of its employees locally-based. The company’s mission, Moving Africa Forward, is a reflection of Mondo’s desire to help modernize Africa by improving the quality, safety, and availability of local and inter city transportation.

Last month Mondo Ride closed a Seed Funding round of US$ 5 million with the purpose of deepening the services provided in Kenya, providing transport services in new cities and investing in technology.

In addition to its transport offerings, Mondo Ride also provides corporate transportation service for businesses throughout the community. This unique aspect of their operations allows for companies to save on transportation and vehicle costs while safely moving their employees around the city.

Mondo Ride is recruiting drivers in Kisumu, Dar es Salaam and Kampala.
