The ICT Ministry is using a Google form to capture this developer information, which requires developers to register their emails, phone number, name, age, gender, and where they stay (District/Town/City). Developers are also required to indicate their level of education which includes; High school or equivalent, Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, and Doctorate.

More information that will be required is a developer’s level of experience in Programing so they need to indicate whether they are Entry-level or Junior software developers, intermediate or expert however how this parameter is measured is still subjective and remains at the discretion of the developer. Developers need to indicate all the Programming Language (s) and frameworks that they are experienced in and on top of that they should detail all the project(s) they have implemented with relevancy to programming.

Are you a Ugandan software developer or engineer? Would you register with the ministry of health?
