Microsoft’s two new flagship Lumia phones the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL have been leaked several times over the past few weeks. We thought that Microsoft will be focusing on flagship handsets during next month launch, but it’s possible that the company will launch a Windows 10 budget device called the Lumia 550. This leaked in an internal Microsoft presentation (found on a Facebook page) reveals even more renders of the handsets. Microsoft is planning to launch several devices at an event on October 6th, alongside the Surface Pro 4 and possibly a Band 2 wearable.
Lumia 550 will spot a 5-inch display, 1GHz processor, Windows 10 out of the box and 5-megapixel camera. With such specs, don’t expect a highly priced phone at launch. The numbering scheme suggests this will be a replacement to its popular Lumia 5xx series devices, aimed at the low-end market.
