As Uganda’s first online hardware store Wena seeks to revolutionalise buying of construction materials and all other materials used in the construction industry. It is not only a buying platform but also provides industry prices to all those constructing.
The online hardware store has enabled Ugandans abroad buy all building materials and have them delivered to their construction site, saving them resources- time and Money.
Wenahardware was an idea born as a result of people working abroad and sending money back home to relatives / friends to set up property for them. Unfortunately, people ended up getting disappointed when they returned and only to find what has always been shared as construction progress was none existent but was rather being done on another person’s property. With Wenahardware, such scenarios are eliminated since people are able to pay directly online for what they have ordered for.
As a pioneer of selling construction materials online has registered a steady growth in orders compared to when it started running – a sign of positive reception.
This is because of the convenience and great prices offered, but just like any new things, some construction materials manufacturers do not understand it yet. We are however going to relentlessly sell the benefits of having their products listed to them, because it is a win-win situation.
