With MTN Mobile Money’s reversal feature, you can now reverse any MoMo transaction as long as some conditions hold. For starters, it will only work if the money has not been withdrawn from the recipient’s account via a momo agent or if the recipient has a loan with the company via Momo advance. MoMoAdvance enables MTN MoMo customers to access advanced Mobile Money funds that they can use to complete their MoMo transactions and pay back later.

Previously, to reverse a transaction one had to call customer care or reach out to them via social media to help resolve the issue. Now, MTN Mobile Money users just have to dial *165*8*7# and you will be presented with a list f your last 3 transactions. Select the number that correlates with the transition you want to revert and that’s it.
