MTN and FCO bring you Ki-Nigeria on the GO

MTN Uganda together with FCO Limited a Nigerian based start up famous for their Afrinolly App which now days is referred to as the IMDb of Africa have teamed up to bring you all the latest that Nollywood and the rest of Africa have to offer. You understand the “Wood” is characterized with movies, So when i mention Nollywood its Africa’s take or answer to Hollywood.

Afrinolly promises to bring you that long sought Hollywood experience on the African soil. it has a lot of entertainment coming out of Africa and Bollywood. Though the app is rich in Nigerian content, the rest of Africa is at least covered with some provisions coming out especially from South Africa, Ghana and Kenya. I will discredit the app for their Nollywood bias as most of their content comes from Nigeria. The App allows you watch full length movies and explores videos, documentaries, trailers and short films all on the go. Not forgetting the news, gossip about your favorite celebrities and movie stars. I wish they but NollyWood celebrities because its built around Africa but has mostly Nollywood content with an excuse of South Africa.

Now there is no need to fight for the TV remote with your maid who wants to watch Agataliiko Nfuufu (local news) as MTN has partnered with Afrinolly to bring the app  in Uganda. You shouldn’t worry as the app can support a variety of Platforms and its available on Google Play store,Apples App store.BlackBerry market, both Windows Phone and Windows 8 and those with feature phones haven’t been left out as it can support Java too. The app is a hot cake with positive reviews on the play store and it won the Android Developer challenge for sub-Saharan Africa. It has a large library of Nollywood title and other offerings from the rest of Africa. Get your Phone, tablet, laptop and download it.
