If you know, you should be aware that you will not find a physical store anywhere in the world reselling Xiaomi phones; except in China, Russia and India. Plus, you should also be in the know that it is only on Jumia in Uganda that one can get a Xiaomi device.
The two companies have been collaborating closely in Uganda since mid 2017, and the phones have gained prominence on the e-commerce platform since then.
At the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Jumia and Xiaomi made a pact that would grant millions of online users in Africa access to Xiaomi products.
The partnership will be an opener for an official Mi store on the Jumia platform, to let online customers across the continent easily purchase Xiaomi products. Additionally, Jumia plans to offer the new Redmi Go exclusively in Africa with others to follow later in the year.
