It turns out Ugandans love iDroid, or sort of

iDroid Africa finished second at the just concluded prestigious PRAU awards held at Imperial Royal Hotel Kampala, besting the likes of NTV Uganda, telecommunications giant MTN and Centenary Bank but fell short of NBS TV that emerged the overall winner in the people’s choice award category.

A jubilant iDroid C.E.O (featured image above) absorbed in happiness was welcome even if they didn’t take the award home. “It’s such a big milestone given we haven’t celebrated our first birthday in Uganda but have been accorded recognition and I thank Ugandans for making this happen”, he further went on to say.
The PRAU is an umbrella body that unites public relations practitioners, agencies and the like and this marked the fifth time they’ve rewarded companies in the PRAU Awards.
