List of iPhones Eligible for iOS 18

Apple recently announced the upcoming release of iOS 18, the latest version of its operating system for iPhones. While this news brings excitement and anticipation, it also comes with some exclusivity. Not all iPhones will be eligible for the iOS 18 upgrade, leaving older devices behind.

The iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X, which were launched in 2017, will miss out on the new features and improvements. This means that the iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, and SE will be the oldest devices eligible for iOS 18 when it becomes available later this year.

However, it’s important to note that not all features will be available on these older devices.

However, certain features will be reserved for newer iPhones. For instance, advanced augmented reality applications  and specific improvements to the camera system and computational photography will be exclusive to newer models.
