When Infinix launched the Note 5 last year, it was a whole new setting for smartphones running on Android One with AI capabilities. Fast forward, the company built the Infinix Note 6, a successor to the 5, coming with more features, improved intelligence, and really cool hardware.
If you happen to own the Note 5 and get to glance at the new handset, you will realize how slim the Note 6 really is, the most compact Note ever – with a 7.7 mm breadth. The new device comes with an intelligent X-Pen and has AI handwriting recognition for efficient note taking.
Similarities
Both phones have a 6-inch screen without a notch and both possess a 16 MP front camera for the best output of your selfies. They have a fingerprint scanner on their backs, both are centered around Artificial Intelligence, and – as expected of a Note – have stylus pens on them.
Differences between the Infinix Note 5 and Infinix Note 6
Infinix Note 6 sports a triple-threat array at the back including a 16 MP camera, a secondary 8 MP sensor with wide angle, and a third 2 MP depth sensor. The Note 5 on the other hand has a single rear 12 MP camera.
The Note 6 has an Android 9.0 Pie with XOS 5.0 OS on board, a 4GB/64GB memory combination – representing the RAM and the internal storage space respectively. The Note 5 on the other hand has Android One running on it, with two variants of 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB memory options.
The new Note packs a non-removable 4000 mAh battery and a MediaTek 6765 processor while the previous is a bigger 4500 mAh power horse with a MediaTek 6763 SoC.
The Infinix Note 6 is available in Midnight black, Blue, Mocha Brown colors, and it costs UGX 749,000/= only. The Note 5 currently costs about UGX 555,000 and both phones are available in Infinix branded shops and online.
