Infinix Hot 10 Unboxing and First Impressions

It has not been so long since we last had an Infinix Hot device. In fact, having reviewed the Hot 8 in October last year, it might not be a surprise that the Hot 9 passed by without notice. Well, we now have the Infinix Hot 10 readily available and – as hot as it may sound – you’ve got to love it!

We haven’t had the Hot 10 for that long — for less than a week — so we can’t give you a full review of the phone just yet. But to give you a snippet of what to expect when you buy it, we can at least give you some impressions.

    Infinix Hot 10 Unboxing

The phone comes in the usual green box, this time bearing an orange strip which is an indicator of an improvement in the build. In the box, you have the device first – highlighting the key specifications on the sticker. There’s a protective case in, XClub card, and a screen protector in the pack. There’s a micro-USB cable alongside a 10W charger and earphones.

A fresher design and lots of improvements

The very first thing you’ll notice about the Hot 10 is that it’s a significant difference from what we saw on the Hot 8. The new device is stylish, possessing a bright and shiny design on the back. The review piece we have is in Obsidian Black colour, and the back, crafted with laser engraving, vividly creates a visual perception of interlaced light and shadow.

The screen is a pretty huge 6.78-inch Infinity-O display, and it comes with a resolution up to 720×1640. Of course, you could demand a much brighter screen but the size makes up for this. In the screen is the front-facing 8 MP camera that has a powerful dual flashlight for selfies.

On the back side are four sensors to manage all your photography and videography, which is a great improvement from the 3 we saw on the Hot 8. A combination of 16 MP, two 2 MP, and a QVGA sensor alongside a quad flash light for dark environments makes the equation complete.

The Hot 10 comes with an impressive 5200mAh battery capacity, which once fully charged, will take you for two other days regardless of the weight of your activity. If you couple this with an upgrade in the processor to the Helio G70, you are sure of amazing performance.

The new device runs on Android 10, and Infinix’s own XOS Dolphin v7 that is designed to adapt to the user’s intelligence as well as offering a number of interesting features. You also get more storage space in a 64GB ROM package as well as a faster service with 3 GB of RAM.
