ICT Association of Uganda (ICTAU), an organisation founded to build up a unified voice for Uganda’s ICT industry has today reshuffled its top management. Having held fresh elections during its 4th Annual General meeting last year on December 9th at Hive Colab Kampala. A new board of directors has been announced today to promote the attractive and competitive ICT sector within the region. However the body also comprises of over 600 signed up members dedicated to uplifting a unified ICT industry voice. Furthermore the new board of directors comprises of the following members.

ICT innovations are on the rise with Hive Colab also opening up its new western branch in Mbarara recently. 2018 may drive more better innovations from Uganda through the annual ICT innovation camps just like the MTN innovation awards. In addition to creating a new focus for the ICT indutry, the Board Chairman Albert Mucunguzi said ICTAU has a strong,vibrant and mostly corporate membership fully representing Uganda’s ICT industry.
This is in line with our vision to contribute to Uganda’s technical and technological development organizing key ICT stake holders under one body capable of supporting/promoting ICT research and advocating for projects and policies that facilitate the adoption and usage of ICTs by the underserved and unreached in Uganda.
