Huawei’s next flagship phone will have three rear cameras and one is 40 megapixels

As rumors of the next Huawei flagship keep rolling in, we are receiving more details about the company’s upcoming Huawei P20 flagships, and the latest is about the rumored three-camera system for the top-of-the-line P20 Pro the most expensive of the P20’s will have three rear-facing cameras. According to via WinFuture — it will have several camera sensors: an 8-megapixel telephoto, a 20-megapixel black-and-white lens, and a main RGB lens that clocks in a massive 40 megapixels.

Lets have a brief flashback, the legendary 41-megapixel Nokia PureView camera from the Nokia 808 and Lumia 1020 still hold the trophy for the highest camera phone sensor on a mobile device.

WinFuture’s leak contains basically anything else you’d want to know about the P20 Pro, too, although most of those specs had already leaked out already. All that’s left at this point is for Huawei to actually announce the phones, which it plans to do on March 27th.
