Yu introduced the ‘Pura’ brand ahead of the P70 series launch, hinting at a revolutionary shift in the smartphone industry’s imaging evolution. This new name, ‘Pura’, symbolizes a fresh chapter for what was previously known as the long-standing P series.
Huawei is gearing up to redefine excellence in camera technology, fashion, and beauty aspects with this rebranding.
Yu Chengdong emphasized that the upcoming devices under the Pura brand will offer top-tier, ‘pure’ features, setting a new standard for smartphone excellence. The CEO assured consumers that Huawei will continuously integrate cutting-edge imaging solutions to deliver an innovative photography experience.
Additionally, he hinted at even more enhancements and surprises to come with the new Huawei Pura series.
In a teaser video dropped on Weibo, Huawei captioned the announcement with, “HUAWEI P series has been upgraded to HUAWEI Pura, starting again with a new attitude!” This cryptic message suggests that we can expect nothing short of groundbreaking additions and capabilities with the impending P70 handsets.
From P Series to Pura Series
